AquaScope 3

Is a high-performance water leak detector. It is designed for technicians specializing in water leak detection and installers to identify leaks in main water networks, supply pipes, and residential or commercial properties.

The acoustic microphone of this leak detector amplifies the mechanical vibrations created when water from a pressurized system escapes through the pipe wall. Using an electronic listening rod, a magnet, a tripod microphone, and a ground microphone, the operator can use this detection kit to pinpoint the exact location of the leak.

AQUASCOPE 3 is crafted by leak detection professionals for those working in the field. With high-quality connectors, a lightweight yet robust amplifier, and cables designed to minimize tripping risks, AQUASCOPE 3 is the ideal tool even for long workdays. The amplifier strap allows the operator to carry the unit either around the chest or at the waist. A universal headphone jack lets you work with your preferred headphones.

AQUASCOPE 3’s powerful integrated features are easy to use. The unique one-button design and simple menu make AQUASCOPE 3 the perfect tool for leak localization, regardless of the operator’s experience level. The filtering settings are extremely user-friendly. Experienced operators can identify difficult leaks using an adjustable narrow-band filter setting to suppress unwanted interference and background noise. The backlight function enables nighttime work when necessary.

“Minimum Level Profiling” function:

While some acoustic devices provide the user with a simple “leak value,” AQUASCOPE 3 allows the recording of a leak value that is independent of nearby traffic and other ambient noises. This provides the operator with valuable information during their survey process. Minimum Level Profiling locks onto the lowest noise detected during each survey. The last eight measurements are displayed to show whether the operator is moving closer to or away from the leak. The leak is closest to the highest value among all recorded minimum noise levels.
